Introduction

On the heels of the hugely successful inaugural US-China Executive Summit at Pebble Beach, California in May 2005, HYSTA and e-China successfully held the 2006 Executive Summit on May 5th and 6th, 2006, at the beautiful Pine Valley Golf Resort in Beijing, China. More than 40 executives from Chinese leading companies in the sectors of telecommunications, the Internet, semiconductor, software, e-commerce, and consumer electronics are joined by their counterparts from the U.S.

The theme of the 2006 Summit is "The Emerging Opportunities and International Collaboration of the Information Technology Industry in China." The Summit features roundtable style discussions, punctuated by keynote speeches, focused on business challenges, management issues, cultural differences, technology trends and directions.
